Your Tuesday night viewing slate

The NBA, NHL, College Football, and College basketball are all on tonight. Enjoy your night.

That could be the end of the blog. It is that good of a sports night that telling you what to watch is almost sinful. Either way, I hope you have more than one screen to watch sports on, because you're going to need five or six tonight.

Here is what you need to be watching in the world of sports tonight:

College Basketball - Starting at Noon EST

Watch all the games. If you're favorite team is playing, you're most likely going to be watching them. If you have to choose a couple other games to watch, the Champions Classic is most likely your best bet. Four historic programs - Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan State - face each other for the ninth time. The event is the most hyped it has ever been, as they make up the top four spots in the AP poll. Once you get past that, Wisconsin-St. Mary's, Alabama-Penn, and Nevada-Utah should all be good matchups.

College Football Selection Committee Show - 8:00 PM EST ish

We can finally stop using the AP poll and Coaches Poll to debate what we think the first College Football Playoff rankings will look like. So many questions will be answered tonight. Who is going to be No. 1? What will Alabama and LSU be ranked for their matchup of Saturday? How does the committee rank undefeated Baylor and Minnesota? How much does Oklahoma's loss to Kansas State hurt them? Of course, none of these rankings will mean anything in about two weeks because November is the craziest month of college football. But having these rankings brings on debate and that is what makes college football so beautiful.

Miami Heat (+4) @ Denver Nuggets

Yes, MACtion FINALLY returns tonight, but a matchup between two of the top teams in the NBA that will only play each other twice this season is too good to pass up. The Heat have been incredible with rookies Kendrick Nunn and Tyler Herro, while Jimmy Butler is just getting started. The Nuggets got blown out by New Orleans on Saturday and need to bounce back desperately. It is not totally unreasonable to believe this could be a preview at the Finals. Turn this one on next to your college basketball for the night and consume all the basketball you can.
