Lightning vs Bruins 7:30 PM EST NBCSN
The top two teams in the East square off in Boston on NBCSN tonight. The Lightning are easily the best team in the NHL. They have thirteen more points than anybody else in the league and have been on a tear recently. A ten game winning streak is on the line tonight and have a good chance at extending the streak tonight. Points leader Nikita Kucherov has ten points in the last five games with three goals and seven assists. 8-0-2 in the last ten game, the Bruins have the second best last ten record behind the Lightning. There has not been much defense played over those ten games with the Bruins allowing 24 goals. Expect goals, goals, and a few more goals tonight in Boston.
Jazz vs Nuggets 10:30 PM EST TNT
A Western Conference showdown between the Jazz and Nuggets has playoff implications. The Nuggets are only a half game behind the Warriors in the West and have the best home record in the NBA. Nikola Jokic has been carrying Denver by leading them in points, rebounds, and assists. With a stat line of 20.7/10.7/7.7, he is the most versatile seven footer in the league right now. Utah sit as the six seed in the West right now and Donovan Mitchell is averaging 23 a game. With both teams already winning a game in this matchup, a grudge match is on in Denver.
Gonzaga vs Pacific 11 PM EST ESPN2
You should not watch this game because it is going to be a good one. It won’t even be a relatively close game. Gonzaga will win by 30+ points. Despite all this, the Zags are still one of the most fun teams in the country to watch. Currently ranked number one in the country, Gonzaga is undefeated in the Western Coast Conference. Rui Hachimura is one of the best players in the country but does not get the credit he deserves. This is a Gonzaga team that beat Duke in Maui in the fall and is keen to make a deep NCAA tournament run. With the college basketball slate dry tonight, it is a great chance to watch a probable number one seed when March Madness comes around.
