Virginia Tech vs Florida State 7 PM EST ESPNU

Top fifteen matchup in the ACC? Yes please. This game is pivotal game for ACC tournament seeding. Florida State is currently ranked fourth in the ACC, while Virginia Tech is in fifth. This is a difference between a regular bye and a double bye. Florida State is a really good team at home with a 14-1 record and scoring nearly 80 a game. Virginia Tech plays well on the defensive side of the ball, only allowing 63 a game on the road. With both teams having favorable matchups in the final game of the season, today is a huge opportunity for both teams to clinch a double bye in the rough ACC tournament.

Kansas vs Oklahoma 9 PM EST ESPN2

Kansas is considered one of the best teams in the country and Oklahoma is a mediocre team. So this really shouldn’t be a big time game in the Big 12. Kansas’ road struggles say otherwise though. OU has lost 3 out of their last 5 home games but are 10-4 overall. Kansas also has to win tonight so stay alive with their Big 12 championship streak on the line. Dedric Lawson is going to have to keep scoring for the Jayhawks so they get off to a fast start. Kansas should win this game comfortably on paper, but how they perform on the road will make it interesting.

Auburn vs Alabama 9 PM EST ESPNU

I’m not going to lie. This is a personal bias must watch game. As a student and fan of the University of Alabama, this game is huge. I am not sure if I have the strength to say anything positive about the Auburn basketball team, so I will be negative about both. Alabama has been one of the most inconsistent teams in the entire country and are lucky to be in the tournament as of now. Auburn themselves have been a huge let down this year too. They were once a top ten team in the country and have fallen off into the middle of the pack in the SEC. Auburn beat Alabama down in the plains earlier this year and both teams need a win. The Tigers would love to sweep the Tide and nobody here in Tuscaloosa want to go 0-2 vs Auburn. 17 year old Kira Lewis is going to have to lead the Tide to get a home win today.
