Kentucky vs Tennessee 2 PM EST CBS
Two of the top three teams in the SEC meet for the second time in two weeks. Kentucky won by 15 in Lexington, handing Tennessee their first loss since November. Neither Grant Williams and Admiral Schofield scored more than 20 and that will have to change tonight. Both players are going to need to score twenty plus to contend with this Kentucky team. Kentucky has not lost on the road since January to Alabama. The winner of this game is going to be in great position in the final two SEC games to win the conference. The loser is going to have a mighty mountain to climb.
El Clasico 2:45 Pm EST Bien Sports
The best game in all of soccer. Barca vs Real Madrid. While Ronaldo has left Madrid, they still have one of the best squads in the world. Everyone knows about Leo Messi. The best player in the world always producing magic. Madrid sit in third place and nine points behind first place Barca. There is an opportunity to almost put Los Blancos to bed tonight, putting them twele points behind with only twelve games remaining. Benzema and Bale have stepped up since Ronaldo has left with 18 league goals. As for Barcelona, Messi has continue to proved he is the best player in the world. 25 goals and 11 assists in only 23 games. Giants vs Padres 3:10 PM EST MLBTV
The only reason to watch this game is because Manny Machado is expected to make his Spring Training debut. Fresh off a 10 year $300 million contract signing, Machado joins the Padres. While everyone thought one of his needs in free agency was a guaranteed spot at SS, he is expected to play 3B for the Padres. Check into the game every time Manny steps into the batter’s box and maybe an inning or two to catch his outstanding defense.
UCF vs Houston 4 PM EST ESPN
The best non P5 matchup in college basketball today, the number eight Houston Cougars host UCF. Houston is projected a three seed in the tournament right now and could be very dangerous. With only one loss on the year to Temple in January, they have flown through the rest of the American. UCF is third in the conference and obviously faces a tough test. Houston has not lost at home this year and needs to stay a game ahead of Cincy. With Gameday in town this morning, expect a fun and electric crowd tonight to watch two of the best teams in the conference.
Baylor vs Kansas State 8 PM EST ESPN
This is a huge game in the Big 12 today. Baylor has the same conference record as Kansas and Kansas State needs not only stay ahead of Kansas, but they also have Texas Tech to deal with. Baylor is coming off a comeback OT win vs Texas and Kansas State got destroyed at Allen Fieldhouse. The issue vs Kansas for KSU was their offense. They could not buy a bucket, especially in the paint. Not even breaking fifty, they really struggled to get any momentum in the game. Baylor was down double digits in regular time and in OT and clawed their way to steal a win from Texas. Baylor has to win to keep their Big 12 title hopes alive. With a game in Lawrence coming up, this game is a must win. Kansas State needs to respond as well and will be looking for a comfortable home win.
Warriors vs 76ers 8:30 PM EST ABC
A possible Finals matchup on display tonight? The Sixers won’t be full strength with no Embiid, but still have Jimmy Butler and Ben Simmons. Tobias Harris has been amazing for Philly since the trade from LA. Nearly 22 a game and 42 percent from 3 ball, he has been key for the 76ers. Despite all of this, the Warriors and still the Warriors. Five All-Stars in their starting lineup, they are the still they overwhelming favorites to win the championship. Curry and Durant as dangerous as ever but DeMarcus Cousins has been playing really well for them. The only thing this Warriors dynasty has never had as been an elite center. They now have that with Cousins. A possible finals matchup should provide a good nightcap for your Saturday.
