A dry Friday in the beginning of March is not the worst thing. At least it is the month of March. While he madness will be getting underway in just a couple of weeks, we can wait patiently with these games.

Capitals vs Islanders 7 PM EST ESPN+

Defending Stanley Cup Champions are visiting the Islanders, who are coming off a huge win last night. A smacking of the Maple Leafs last night, the Islanders got revenge of departed player John Tavares. Will they have a hangover hosting the Caps tonight? Alex Ovechkin leads the NHL in goals with 44 at the age of 33. He is the oldest player since the 1974-1975 season to have that accolade. These two teams are also the top in the Metro division and will be fighting for playoff positioning. The Caps have won four out of five, scoring nineteen in the four wins. The Capitals will be looking to capitalize on the Islanders’ hangover tonight in Brooklyn.

Bucks vs Lakers 10:30 EST ESPN

Giannis and the Bucks travel to LeBron and the Lakers for an East vs West matchup. Despite their win against the Pelicans, the Lakers are still struggling. With twenty one games remaining for the Lakers, sixteen of them come against teams currently in the playoffs. Tonight they have the best team in the East visiting. Giannas has become a must watch player. His athleticism is unlike anything we have seen out of a 7 foot player. His supporting cast of Khris Middleton and Brook Lopez have been fantastic as well. Tonight will be a huge test for the Lakers, who need as many wins as they possibly can get.
